Riad Mur Akush has 6 individually designed suites with handmade furniture from local antique markets. All rooms feature air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with tadelakt waterproof walls, personal safes, and Egyptian cotton linens. Some include fireplaces and seating areas. The Grand Suite Amel accommodates up to 4 guests and includes a television.
Dining Experiences
Breakfast includes homemade pancakes, cakes, fresh bread, eggs, and Moroccan coffee served from 7-11 AM anywhere in the riad. In-house cooks prepare traditional Moroccan dinners using market-fresh ingredients, available in the courtyard, dining room, or terrace. Vegetarian, vegan, and special diet requests are accommodated.
Riad Facilities
The property features two terraces with views of the Marrakech medina and Atlas Mountains, a candlelit courtyard with fountain, and a small library with board games. Free fiber optic Wi-Fi and satellite TV are available in the main salon. The rooftop terrace has sun loungers and dining areas with 360-degree city views.
Location & Access
Located in the Medina district near Bab Doukkala Mosque, the riad is a 10-minute walk from Jamaâ El Fna Square and 15 minutes from Majorelle Gardens. Private transfers from the airport cost 20 euros for up to 4 guests. Taxis stop at Derb Zaouia on Rue Fatima Zohra, with the riad 20 meters into the first right alley.

The staff can arrange hammam treatments, cooking classes, and private dinners with musicians. Children over 4 are welcome, with travel cots available in most rooms at no charge.
